Humor : You know when your sitting in a chair and you lean back so you're on just 2 legs and you almost fall over and at the last second you catch yourself? I feel like that all the time.

Re: The Beaver
I really would like to buy this item but I'm afraid it won't fit my girl, damn!

We now know her exact size at last. I should ask if its still warm. What a fun.

You certainly do know your way around ebay, Mario. lol
But yeah, I'd like to get her bra when she takes it off and hands it to me. *deep sigh*

Re: The Beaver
I hope she kept the wife beater though. I expected the film itself to start burning up from the heat. If it weren't for the air conditioning, I would have needed that bra.

>> I would have needed that bra. <<
What means its size would be fine for you...I get to know you better and better. Told me your height earlier. Me thinks this isn't a board, it's a dating club.
The specific scenes were quite chicken. It was her first shower xxx in 48 years (please correct) and before I had realized what's been happening on screen it was over. All the steamy glass, very unrealistic. Nobody would turn on hot water in that situation, more likely you'd need it pretty cold. And I want to complain about her not being nude in bed. Only in Hollywood you can make good xxx fully dressed. That doesn't mean you can't have good xxx in clothes. Jeez, what am I talking about? Stop this, Mario!

Well, actually, it would be a little roomy, but not by much at this point. *sigh*
And maybe those scenes weren't what you're used to, Mario, but they worked for me. JF is indelibly marked on my brain.

Re: The Beaver
PS - I was using the phrase wife beater more like in A Street Car Named Desire, but not because of the nature of Marlon Brando's character, but because of how hot he was making everyone.

Re: The Beaver
I'm not so familiar with history of underwear in film, but I've looked it up, thanks for the hint.
>>And maybe those scenes weren't what you're used to<< That's a bit unfair. I'm not watching films for seeing naked truth.
It's not only for the rating they do these scenes like they do it. In Jodie's case it tells also about her very traditional directing style. Visually, aesthetically her films don't fathom new areas. For her future works as director I hope for a more destinctive handwriting. I mean it's ok telling stories but she's so brainy I want to see that expressed in a visually corresponding way.

Here's another clip from Cannes. Some Bollywood actress runs into Jodie.

You need a moped to impress Jodie Foster.

Re: The Beaver
I remember a picture of Jodie with her then new Volkswagen Beetle. It was her first car, purchased with the money from Foxes. A white convertible.
There's an interview with teenage Jodie where her publicist allows her to drive a few miles with her Mercedes Benz SL, at age 15 or so lol.

Re: The Beaver
For some years now the 540i Bimmer is no more. And it wasn't necessarily hers, could have been CB's. Today she's always seen in the Toyota which is very pc and very ugly.
When she was 14 she said that at 16 she wants to buy an Alfa Romeo. Well, there def. have been some Romeos in her life. As far as I know none of them came from Turin.
