Frankly I did not read J. D. Salinger though I had a book in English. I know how his book The Catcher in the Rye has influenced some people

I read only one of his books. I want to read The Catcher in the Rye. It's been on my to read list for a long time, but since he died, I bumped it up. I just have to decide whether or not I want to buy it right now.
