Not working, and being off all the time has taken away the feeling of TGIF. I also don't have the "woe is me, it's Monday already" feeling. Both of 'em, completely gone. I never thought I'd miss the "feeling" of the days of the working week. Alas, I remain hopeful that something will come up after the holidays!!

There is no "gay agenda." There exists a constituency who are simply concerned with equal treatment for all under the law. That is not some sinister "agenda." It's a dedicated effort to follow through with the constitutional "agenda."

Author/Wit Fran Lebowitz has some interesting things to say about DADT. Being a gay woman, she's not necessarily for it as she says:

This is taking her out of context. She has a documentary directed by Martin Scorsese on HBO called Public Speaking. It's thought provoking and very funny, check it out!

I think it's about time and hope there won't be any repercussions from the homophobic members of the military.

The Lakers were embarrassed and lost BIG. But I got to spend time with my family and we had a wonderful time! It's not what's under the Christmas tree, or what's on the table. It's the people sitting around the table that matter at Christmas. That and a phone call from a dear friend that brightens up the holidays!! I learn over and over that no matter how tough things might get, I am blessed and I will prevail!
