    Foxes 1980
    Director:Adrian Lyne
    Writer:Gerald Ayres (written by)
    Release Date:29 February 1980 (USA)
    Cast
    Jodie Foster ... Jeanie
    Cherie Currie ... Annie
    Marilyn Kagan ... Madge
    Kandice Stroh ... Deirdre
    Scott Baio ... Brad
    Sally Kellerman ... Mary
    Randy Quaid ... Jay

Four best friends, four different personalities. Jeanie, Annie, Madge, and Deirdre have issues of their own. The only way to loosen up, and forget all the bad things happening in their lives, is to party, and have fun. Jeanie is ready to grow up, and stop acting like a child. Annie is the worst of all, and Jeanie is worried about her the most. She risks her neck more than once trying to keep Annie clean, and safe-and-sound. But Annie's unstable behavior and flare keeps everyone on edge

Jeanie: Back in the heavy stoned days, when we used to stay up and
talk a lot, Annie and me, we were talking about dying, how it feels
and all. I said Id never get buried. I couldnt stand them
shoveling dirt in my face. Like, I know Id be dead, but I still
might have this strong compulsion to breathe, okay? But Annie, she
said she wanted to be buried right in the ground under a pear tree.
Really. Not in a box or anything. She said she wanted the roots
going right through her, and each year, wed come along, take a
pear, and go "Hey, Annies tasting good this year, huh?"

Buddy Foster, Jodie Foster's brother and a child actor in his own right, was up for a part in this film. They wanted him to play the love interest to his own sister. affraid They eventually recast the love interest role and Buddy can be seen in another part.
    Shocked

    Yeah! It's he.

He played that role very well. It's a shame he didn't do more movies.
