Congratulations to Susan Lyall!! I'm glad she's getting an award. She's been helping JF make great movies for years.

Can't wait to see the pictures... since I can't see the ceremony. *sigh*

Most people already left the theater, while I´m still watching the end credits. Sound redicoulus but sometimes I get watery eyes reading hundreds of names of people all behind the camera who made a film happen. This is hard work for all and you need a lot of passion.

So hopefully I´m allowed to bring in some funny stuff related to your news rol

Believe it or not... I'll be in NYC for a week... but only from June 3rd.

I'm seeing a few plays and a musical. Well, I'll say hi to Denzel.

DW is nominated for a Tony award. Is there any reason why so many hollywood actors are into musicals currently?

It's mostly plays they do, not musicals, unless they can sing, like Antonio Banderas who I saw in "Nine - The Musical" in 2003.

Catherine Zeta-Jones for example is currently in a musical on Broadway (also Tony nominated) but I'm not going to see that one.

Denzel Washington is in a play and I look forward to see him on stage.

I just think that Hollywood actors want to prove themselves on stage. They want to show that they're able to do 8 shows a week and remember a lot of text. Learning text for a play/musical is a bit different than learnig it for a movie where you go scene by scene I would think.

Then there are also a lot of actors who initially started in the theater and just love doing it (i.e. Kevin Spacey, who is also Artistic Director at the Old Vic Theater in London).

I'm a big theater fan and regularly visit NYC or London to see plays and musicals.
