They are all pros in the industry, the actors, the writers, the directors. I'm not naive thinking they would say anything negative about a colleague in the media. But if you're a really an ass the public will find out sooner or later, somebody will tell. Now, she's doing this job for 45 years, and you can spend hours looking for negative comments about her. You will not succeed. In 45 years nobody ever said something else than Jodie Foster is a really nice, intelligent, warm and funny person. So I take it as a fact b/c we will never meet her or share a cozy double-seat on a flight from LA to Berlin. But isn't it nice if a little mystery remains?

You can keep your life private or you can be as pro as you want but _if_ there were a 'dark' side of you, you couldn't hide that for such a long time. Facts like these make some of the theories and questions out there obselete. For example when a certain group of people wonders why none of her "many bed buddies" (not my words) ever talked to the press.

I have been following JF and a few more "artists" for 27 years and have never come across a negative comment or an embarassing or disappointing story about her, whereas i eventually have concerning the other artists, sometime, across their lifetime. It is unusual for someone who has been in the industry for so long not to have blundered somewhere or sometime across almost half a century. JF is the only one who hasn't disappointed me yet and hope she never will. It is unlikely she would, now. It is strange that no "bed buddy" or anyone else in the business who has known her or has dealt with her sometime has never come out to cause her trouble for jealousy or revenge or whatever, at some point.
It has happened to anybody else. She must be a kind, professional, intelligent, classy and smart person, full stop. There is nothing bad to say and they can't even make it up.

Probably she said "Mr. photographer what about I sit here, turning my head to the left so the daylight reflects nicely on my face making perfect opposite to the dark contrasts of my hot leather jacket" something like that. I mean you can be sure she knows more about taking pictures of Jodie Foster than any photographer. When she's not at home, ironing the curtains or cleaning the bathroom, she gives interviews or is photographed. Bet she's a pretty good photographer. And we know she collects pricey b&w photos.
