The Beaver
Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson were snapped on the set of their new movie The Beaver, a comedy/drama set to release in 2011.

I agree. It is a "stupid" little tree. I don't know how JF puts up with such things.

She just needs to have a word with the tree and I'm sure the tree will listen to director Jodie's directions from now on...

Niiice! Jodie seemed to be very soft spoken (and gorgeous) in this interview. God I can't wait to see The Beaver, and REALLY look forward to her audio commentary on the DVD!!! I liked the Skittles commercial with Beth Grant too!! Sissy I miss you!

Well, alright…….
I somehow had missed that fabulous video you posted, back in October, Eugene. She really "cleans up, good."
Have any of you seen "Lars and the Real Girl", featuring Ryan Gosling? There seems to be an element to The Beaver that sounds similar to some of the territory explored in that film. (I HIGHLY recommend that one!)

Re: The Beaver
However, I did see that the rumors of "straight to dvd" sales are still looming large over this film.
While that's completely depressing, and reveals what a ridiculous celebrity culture we've cultivated….. Still, it may be so good that it could actually "change" some things. I'm not sure what to intimate what I think those things are, because I still don't understand how Hollywood works.
Again, I must reiterate, I just want to see the dang movie! She seems more comfortable with this project than any other she's worked on.

Re: The Beaver
"Coming Soon" I'm hoping that after the first of the year they can release this film. It's telling, the scene where Jodie tells Mel that she has fought for him and will continue to fight for him because she loves him. Is that art imitating life?

I think it's a Janis Joplin song and a good one too.
